INVITATION TO BID
EXCAVATION AND PIPE LAYING OF MAINLINE OF THE PROPOSED PRODUCTION WELL PROJECT (PHASE 2)
The OROQUIETA CITY WATER DISTRICT, through the Corporate Approved Budget 2016 intends to apply the sum of One Million Three Hundred Twenty Four Thousand One Hundred Twenty One and 11/100 (PHP1,324,121.11) which was divided into two (2) lots: the first lot for the pipes and fittings in the amount of Six Hundred Forty Thousand One Hundred Twenty One and 11/100 (Php640,121.11), the second lot for the excavation service payment of which shall depend on the total linear meters excavated, with a maximum of 3,800 linear meters and the excavation activity for only two (2) months in the amount of Six Hundred Eighty Four Thousand Pesos (Php684,000.00) under P.R. 2016-03-022 being the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC). Bids received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected at Bid Opening.
The OROQUIETA CITY WATER DISTRICT, NOW INVITES FOR SEALED Bids from eligible Bidders the supply and delivery of pipes and fittings for the pipe laying and excavation service of mainline of the proposed production well project. Bidders should have completed, within the last two years from the date of submission and receipt of bids, a contract similar to the Project. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding Documents herewith, particularly, in Section II. Instructions to Bidders.
Bidding is restricted to Filipino citizens/sole proprietorship, partnerships, or organizations with at least sixty percent (60%) interest or outstanding capital stock belonging to citizens of the Philippines, and to citizens or organizations of a country the laws or regulations of which grant similar or privileges to Filipino citizens, pursuant to 5138 and subject to Commonwealth Act 1384.
A complete set of Bidding Documents maybe purchased by interested Bidders on March 10 – March 21, 2016 from the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee for the Bidding Documents in the amount of Five Hundred Pesos (Php500.00) for each lot.
Letter of Intent, Application for Eligibility and Bids must be delivered to the address below before March 21, 2016 at 10:00 o’clock in the morning. Bids will be opened in the presence of the Bidders’ representatives who chose to attend at the address below on March 21, 2016 at 10:15 in the morning. Late bids shall not be accepted. All Bids must be accompanied by a bid security in any of the acceptable forms in the amount stated in ITB Clause.
The OROQUIETA CITY WATER DISTRICT reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, to annul the bidding process, and to reject all bids at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected bidder or bidders.
